Cover Art Man... or Astro-Man?
Live Transmissions from Uranus
[Touch and Go]
Rating: 7.9

This live album, originally released in 1995, has been re-issued by Chicago's finest indie, Touch and Go. The disc contains a bunch of supercharged Astro-Man classics and a few new covers ("Mystery Science Theatre 3000 Love Theme," the Avenger VI's classic "Time Bomb," and the old TV theme song, "Man from F.U.C.K. Y.O.U."). The band's charming onstage banter and instrumental surf-rock magic make this one great live album.

The Astromen claim to be from outer space, and maybe that's the only place a band this fucking awesome could come from.
