West Nile Virus detected in two crows in State College
From CDT staff reportsHARRISBURG -- The state Department of Environmental Protection said West Nile Encephalitis has been detected in 12 birds in eight counties, including two crows found dead in State College Borough last week.The findings make three positive tests for the mosquito-borne virus in Centre County in the past month. A dead crow in Ferguson Township was found to have the virus in mid-July.
