Twins right-hander Brad Radke, activated from the disabled list hours before his start, reaggravated his injured right groin in the first inning of Thursday night's game against Anaheim and was put back on the 15-day DL.
Pettitte throws 3 rehab innings
New York Yankees left-hander Andy Pettitte, on the disabled list since April 16 with tendinitis in his pitching elbow, reported no problems after throwing three innings in an extended spring training game Friday.

Jarrod Washburn won again and each of his teammates had a hit by the fourth inning as the Anaheim Angels beat the Minnesota Twins 11-3 Friday night.

Diamondbacks Defeat Dodgers 6-3
Randy Johnson, roughed up by Los Angeles five days earlier, went eight innings as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Dodgers 6-3 Friday night.

Red Sox Defeat Yankees 5-2
Derek Lowe overcame two rain delays to pitch six scoreless innings and the Boston Red Sox won another road game, snapping a seven-game losing streak at Yankee Stadium with a 5-2 victory over New York on Friday night.

Pirates Beat Cardinals, 3-1
Craig Wilson went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, and rookie Josh Fogg pitched four-hit ball into the seventh inning as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the St. Louis Cardinals 3-1 Friday night.

Brewers 12, Padres 1
Geoff Jenkins waited a long time for the big hit with the bases loaded.

Athletics Defeat Devil Rays, 13-9
Miguel Tejada, Jermaine Dye and Eric Chavez hit consecutive RBI singles during a four-run ninth inning as the Oakland Athletics beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 13-9 Friday night.
