THE BEST OF ANITA BAKER: Get Caught Up in the Rapture From Rhino Records
Hailed as "a female Luther Vandross," Anita Baker was the romantic voice and one of the most popular urban/adult contemporary singers of the 80s and 90s. With hits like "Angel," "Sweet Love," and "Caught Up In The Rapture," Baker's strong, sensual alto catapulted her to the top of the charts and made her an originator of the "quiet storm" sound. On June 18 - with the release of Rhino Records' THE BEST OF ANITA BAKER - the steamy sound of Anita Baker will be back in rotation, just in time to heat up summer nights.
