Cover Art Luscious Jackson
Fever In, Fever Out
[Grand Royal/Capitol]
Rating: 6.3

R&B;/Alternative Queens Luscious Jackson hit the scene in 1993 with their debut EP, In Search of Manny. People were so entranced by their spaced-out beats and their altogether groove that it created a huge media buzz, thereby making their latest a moderate success.

The Jackson Four put Daniel Lanois on production duties this time, thereby bringing out just the right amount of earthliness and soul, which, on Fever In, Fever Out changes their sound considerably. Whether or not it's for the better is debatable.
