Under the Flightpath
[NovaMute]
Rating: 6.7

DJs are all the rage these days, ruling the underground club scenes with re-worked dance beats and drug-induced samples. They're popping up everywhere and they're not necessarily all talented.

Darren Price, on the other hand, does things with keyboards and samplers that would make you scratch your head. At once both traditional, straight-forward dance and totally foreign, Under The Flightpath swells like an infected sore and pops its greasy ripeness until bubbling blood.

Flightpath's beats are as sterile as a goddamn hospital, but Price doesn't let the prescription drug side effects work their magic. He keeps it clean and simple. Strangely, in this bacteria- free enviroment, Darren's produced a piece of work so contagious, I'm certain it's capable of infecting millions of dance floors.
