Cover Art Versus
Secret Swingers
[Teen Beat]
Rating: 7.7

Versus has been rocking the college radio scene since 1992, when they released their first EP, Let's Electrify! (and electrify, it did). Their debut full-length, The Stars Are Insane, was no less impressive, receiving critical acclaim from damn near everyone who reviewed it, and anyone who said otherwise was just plain wrong.

Now friends, Secret Swingers. A dangerously poppy thrillride through a land where love truly rules and rock-n-roll will never die. Some of the album's best moments come with "Ghost Story" and "Angels Rush In," but the true highlight of this stunning eleven-song masterpiece arrives as a brilliant six minutes of beautifully-strummed chords, chilling vocal harmony and sincere lyrics called "Jealous." It's the sound of Low on anti-depressants. If that sounds like your cup o' tea, you're simply not going to regret your purchase of Secret Swingers.
