I Know About You
[Simple Machines]
Rating: 7.2

Incredible stuff. These guys initially come off as sounding like a more melodic and country- roots version of Low. "Little Things," the disc's first track is a slow and beautiful song which begins harmlessly enough, but gradually builds into something more intense. It's amazing what people are doing with a guitar, bass and vocals these days. Whatever happened to drums? Well, they're on the next track.

But that's beside the point. Ida clearly have their shit together, and I Know About You is a terrific follow-up to their debut. Technically, they're more impressive and the songs are better. A definite candidate for this year's entry into the Prozac Hall of Fame.
