Cover Art Headrillaz
Coldharbour Rocks!
[V2]
Rating: 3.2

Hey! It's one of the first releases on V2 records, a label started by some guy who likes to fly a balloon. Balloons and techno music are two great tastes that taste great together, but chowing down the Headrillaz debut CD is a lot like eating nothing but Oreos for a year: Eventually, it all starts to come out a disgusting, brownish-black color.

Howie B, the man who turned U2's Pop into the greatest selling album of all time, works the same cash register ringing magic on Coldharbour Rocks. By that I mean every noise on this disc sounds like a goddamned cash register. It's like "Dominator" never happened. This would have been the dope in 1991 inbetween Psychic TV releases, but now it's like a bad retro joke. Wake me when the new 12 Rods disc is released, V2, and in the meantime I'll catch up on my sleep. (Oh, boy! Sleep! That's where I'm a viking!)
