Cover Art Elevator To Hell
Eerieconsiliation
[Sub Pop]
Rating: 7.8

Former Eric's Trip members go plum out of their minds and into a world of darkness and pure evil. Are they dragging you with them? By the hair, homeboy. Grab your one-way transfer to Dimension #4 and let the demon take over.

And for those of you who are wondering what Eerieconsiliation sounds like, it's a lot like Eric's Trip. The difference is that the music of Eric's Trip was kinda cute -- this sounds angry, in a very subtle way. The raging guitars are here, but don't dominate the album. Instead, it travels on the border between '60s psychedelic rock and the Bermuda Triangle. Yeah, these former fun-having, flower-picking pop stars have crossed to the other side, and they're scaring the shit out of Marilyn Manson.
