Vegas
[City of Angels/Outpost]
Rating: 8.9

I was sure, yes sure for a moment. No question. My ears were actually trying to seperate themselves from my head for a moment so that they could drop down to my desk and dance! They were twitching of their own volition, and my shoulders were sprinkled with tiny curly ear-hairs dislodged during the phenomenon. Ears know best.

Vegas is the sort of techno that I love to hear at raves -- it's gut-quiveringly powerful yet garnished with enough voice and surprises to suggest a spirit in the machine. Stuffed with variety and changes in tempo and dynamics, I expect at least 100 listens before I remove it from my player (assuming that my ears can last that long attached to my head). Shut your eyes, look into the flashing lights, let your body move and hold onto your ears. Good tunes.
