Cover Art Camber
Beautiful Charade
[Deep Elm]
Rating: 7.5

Angst at its finest. Camber are a powerful three-piece with music that punches holes in the ozone and brings it back to Earth with real emotion and terrific sound.

"Hollowed Out," a former 7" for Deep Elm, the incredible New York based indie label, starts the record off kicking with tense passion and pounding percussion, making its presence known.

It's followed by a number of other seriously impressive songs like the charged-up "Marking the Days," the intense title cut, and the album's remarkable closing track, "Sever."

Beautiful Charade is great. It's straight rock and roll with genuine feeling, which is something you don't see much anymore.
