Triple Fast Action seems to hang around in Cafe 80's, sucking down cold ones with Loverboy and Poison. While their music is in a more modern rock vein, I get that hair band vibe off of great chunks of this big time. When they can transcend this albatross, as they do on the song "American City World," the result is pretty cool. But when they wade through ten minutes of their epic "Superstar," they make enough noodles to feed a Chinese army. I don't eat noodles, so I'll pass.
