A look at the package almost always gives you a hint of what's inside, but in this case, it just completely threw me off. At first glance, Plexi comes off as some sort of Sons- of- Marilyn Manson. You know, people with big lips smearing their mascara all over their bodies and shit. But when I popped this disc in the player, it opened with the crashing homicidal delivery, "Forest Ranger." And then the record fades from your interest. Just like that. Still playing, but somehow not there anymore. Yeah, the songs are still rocking like a parked '63 Chevy Convertible, but where'd the feeling go? Out the window, I presume.
