Bob Mould
[Rykodisc]
Rating: 8.7

Bob Mould has been holding up nicely in his old age, and though the most obvious ingredient in his brand of pop is still Sugar, there's still some Husker in the 'Dew. Songs like "Eg0verride" and "Fort Knox, King Solomon" come pre-packaged with bubbly distortion, caffeinated choruses and lyrics like phosphoric acid. This is the pure, undiluted solution to all your commercial alternative problems.
