Cover Art Chimera
Earth Loop
[Grass]
Rating: 7.8

Chimera shoot forth icy rockets of etherial music that floats away with your brain and wakes you up in Fairyland. I, myself, am not too into that whole fairy music scene, but if there's an album right now that gives off that impression and makes me want to listen to it all at once, it's Earth Loop.

Our friend at Grass compared Chimera to a cross between the Cranberries and the Cocteau Twins. Personally, I'm having a hard time coming up with a better description of the music. At once charming, but with a hint of mild gutsiness.

If you're into music that shakes the icicles down from the roof of your shadowy Northern Ireland cottage, this record is for you.
