Much of the British Council's work involves matching overseas needs to UK resources. At any time we may need to find a speaker for an overseas conference, identify a university department for an academic link, select a partner institution to implement a client-funded contract, and so on. The range of expertise and experience that we seek from within the whole UK is huge. We have extensive knowledge and management resources of our own to draw on, but we also rely critically on the skilled inputs of individuals and institutions in both public and private sectors around the United Kingdom. This page explains the values and standards we apply to the partnerships we create. |
