Students pelted with cow pats in second-hand car competition |
Students in New Zealand have been pelted with cow pats and food slops in a competition to win a second-hand car.
Forty competitors had to try to keep one hand on the 1989 Honda Accord while a crowd of 300 showered them with eggs, manure and beer.
A total of 21 students survived the Lincoln University two-hour challenge and the winner was drawn from a hat.
The competition was organised by the university's student union, the Canterbury Press reports.
