Cat found after being stuck under floor for six weeks |
A cat has been found trapped under the concrete floor of a newly built house, six weeks after going missing.
A couple viewing the property in Clacton, Essex, heard Polly miaowing.
The company found her when they made a hole in the floor to locate the noise.
Maureen Morris, 57, was worried about what had happened to her cat and had left notices everywhere, including the building site.
Mrs Morris told the Evening Gazette: "It is quite a happy ending really. She is all skin and bone but it is lovely to have her back. We are overjoyed and cannot believe it."
