Iain Duncan Smith 'less recognisable than Dolly the sheep' |
More people recognise Dolly the sheep and Big Brother's Penny than Iain Duncan Smith, according to a survey.
A third of Conservative Party supporters and 49% of all those questioned failed to identify Mr Duncan Smith when they were shown his picture.
The Mori poll of 1,031 people found 74% recognised Dolly and 57% could name her.
In the 15 to 24 age group, only 21% recognised Mr Duncan Smith. Twice as many could name Penny.
The survey for The Mirror found only 51% of people aged 15 and over could name Mr Duncan Smith when shown his photograph.
Meanwhile, 32% of Tory supporters who took part in the poll between August 23 and 28 couldn't name him.
