The FBI wants to talk to 100 people who may have information about the US terror attacks. It has also released the names of the hijackers who are believed to have seized control of the four planes involved. It says it has received over 36,000 leads and has over 4,000 FBI special agents working on the case at various offices around the country. The names of 100 people it wants to question have been released to law enforcement authorities across America. FBI director Robert Mueller said: "As of today we have 4,000 FBI special agents working on this case in various offices around the country and 3,000 support employees also on investigation." He said of the 36,000 leads, 30,000 had come in over the internet, 3,800 via the FBI hotline and 2,400 were generated through FBI field offices. He also said hundreds of people had been picked up for questioning, hundreds of subpoenas had been issued, and computers and other items had been seized. FBI agents have also been sent to major airports to resolve any queries with passengers or any other person attempting to board a plane without a genuine ticket.
