(CNN) -- Janet Jackson's high-energy "All for You" tour is making its way through the United States. With fireworks, exuberant dance numbers and an array of costume changes, it's a big show. During the tour's stop in Atlanta, Georgia, Headline News contributor Lindsay Brien and a small crew went backstage to find out what it takes to make the spectacle happen each night.

They didn't find any superstar egos and behind-the-scenes chaos. The concert is pulled together by a team of dedicated people who offered a glimpse inside their world.

Wardrobe coordinator Bonnie Flesland allowed a peek at Jackson's colorful costumes. She said Jackson goes through nine costume changes during her performance, including hats, boots and bras. Flesland said Jackson's ear monitor and headset packs are coordinated to match each outfit.

Hairstylist Sherman Hawthorne calls the look for Jackson and her dancers "edgy and straight with a slight essence of punk." A makeup artist reinforces the image.

Eight dancers, two background singers and a full band perform with Jackson onstage. Sound coordinators, video console directors and instrument coordinators take care of the technical side of the show. The staff is rounded out by a production manager, road manager and concert tour director.

It takes $500,000 a week to put on the show according to the tour production manager. Every night, the people pack up on buses, and equipment is loaded on 17 trucks. Then they all head to the next gig.

Though they're away from their families most of the time, they said Jackson maintains a "homey" atmosphere, making sure she knows everyone on staff by name. Relatives of the show's performers cavort backstage. Jackson's Rottweiler is even along for the ride.

But the touring life may be taking a toll on the singer. In an interview with Headline News moments before she went onstage, Jackson revealed the "All for Your" tour may be her last major concert run.

"I think this might be it," she said. "Touring is pretty tough, and it takes a great deal of time out of your life. There are other things I would like to do."

Headline News contributor Lindsay Brien has more of the interview with Janet Jackson and a view of "All for You" from backstage on CNN Headline News between 3 and 6 p.m. EDT Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
