Four Freedoms

One speech Franklin Delano Roosevelt is famous for delivering was his State of the Union Address on January 6, 1941. This speech is also known as the Four Freedoms Speech. In it, he outlined the following four freedoms:

  1. Freedom of Speech
  2. Freedom of Religion
  3. Freedom from Want
  4. Freedom from Fear
