We're thrilled to announce Amazon.com Anywhere, a new service that allows you to browse and shop Amazon.com's stores and auction site without a computer. We're inaugurating this program with a free PDA application for the newly released Palm VII Connected Organizer from Palm Computing, Inc. We've got big plans for expansion to other mobile and informational devices.
With Amazon.com Anywhere, a music or book tip from a friend can be acted on immediately; products can be researched; the status of auction items can be confirmed; and orders may be placed while traveling. Helpful information such as Amazon.com reviews are accessible from the Palm VII device and all purchases will be handled via the security of your protected 1-Click information.
