Dance Hall At Louse Point review
from a Dutch newspaper

"Dance Hall At Louse Point is emphatically presented as _not_ the new PJ Harvey album. A bit childish, since the album was released by her record company, and besides she wrote the lyrics and sings all the songs. The thing that sets the songs, composed by John Parish, apart from Harvey's own music is that their quality is significantly less. More often than not they're only the beginnings of songs, to which Harvey has to sing her lyrics. This results in less inspired singing than on her own records. The album sounds like a hasty job, although its version of Leiber & Stoller's 'Is That All There Is' is very good."
