As dark (suitably) falls, an awed crowd watches PJ Harvey provide the day’s ragingly loudest and chillingly quietest noises via new songs that rock their hard-as-nails blues in fiendish 7/4 time. But look closer, and that dervish dance Polly’s whirling during "Perfect Day Elise"...looks fun. Damned fun, of course, but still grinning.
