Finite Mathematics includes the many topics in Mathematics which do not require the concepts associated with the Differential or Integral Calculus. To say this in a more technical way:
- Finite Mathematics deals with discrete items and ignores the concepts of infinity and continuity.
- Non-finite Mathematics deals with continuous items and infinite processes, in particular, Analysis and Calculus.
