Premiere -- The International Movie Magazine

Women In Hollywood

Premiere's annual tribute to Women in Hollywood celebrates the extraordinary achievements of women in film -- in front of and behind the camera -- who have made an indelible mark on motion pictures. Premiere handed out its first Women In Hollywood Icon Award in 1994 and since then the sorority of winners has grown into a supreme roster of talent and the event has become the ultimate power lunch for women.

This year's ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 11th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angelos as Premiere honored Icon Award Winners Drew Barrymore, Holly Hunter, and Lauren Shuler Donner. Amanda Peet was also on hand to receive the second annual Spotlight Award for Emerging Talent.
