Is it possible to get copies of Paul Harvey commentaries?
No. Unfortunately, Paul's staff if extremely small and they are unable to provide either audio or printed transcripts of his broadcasts.

Do Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura and Paul Harvey have e-mail addresses?
Paul and Laura do not, but Rush does. You can e-mail Rush from his page under the "Personalities" section of the WMAL website. You can fax Dr. Laura your letters at 818-461-5140. You can write to Paul Harvey at: 333 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60601.

Is it possible for WMAL to post selected stories or commentaries from Paul Harvey on its web site?
That is not permitted, according to representatives from Mr. Harvey's office.

Is Doctor Laura live on WMAL, or on tape?
Both, actually. When you hear Doctor Laura on WMAL between 9:30 and 11:30AM weekday mornings, you are hearing a taped broadcast. Not a repeat broadcast, but a broadcast that was made the previous weekday. When you hear Doctor Laura between 3 and 4PM weekdays, you are hearing a live broadcast. If you would like to be on the program, please try during the afternoon broadcast on WMAL. (Weekend broadcasts are repeats from earlier in the week. Occasionally, you may hear a repeat Dr. Laura broadcast on a weekday. This happens whenever Dr. Laura is ill or on vacation.)

How can I obtain a copy of ABC's PERSPECTIVE broadcast?

Are copies or transcripts of WMAL broadcasts available?
Station policy does not allow copies of WMAL broadcasts to be distributed. There are monitoring services such as Radio/TV Monitoring Service in Washington DC, which provide services covering many radio and TV programs. They can be reached at 202 244-1901.

How can I find out more about an ad I heard on WMAL?
Contact Avis Harris in our continuity department, at 202 895-2362. Some advertisements we carry on WMAL are contained within syndicated or networked programming, and are outside of our control.

How can I submit a public service announcement to WMAL?
Please send it in care of your favorite WMAL host, or just "Public Service", WMAL, 4400 Jenifer Street NW, Washington DC 20015. We make public service announcements each hour throughout our local broadcast day, however, we regret we cannot guarantee we will get to all the announcements we receive, nor can we provide times when a particular announcement got on the air.

Can the best radio news in Washington be heard on FM?
No. It can be heard through WMAL's RealAudio, or at AM630. Not on FM.
