Yair Frankel Chief scientist
Walt Ruloff, CEO and cofounder, has over 15 years of experience in running high-growth software companies. Mr. Ruloffs landmark achievement was in 1991 when he founded InterTrans Logistics Solutions (ITLS), a supply-chain software company. Under Mr. Ruloffs direction ITLS grew to over 400 employees and $30M in revenues, quickly becoming the premiere player in its space. In 1998 ITLS was acquired by i2 Technologies. The success of ITLS was due in large part to Mr. Ruloff's strategic product vision and ability to partner with Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Ruloff is also a member of the eCash
Technologies Board of Directors.
John Filby,
president and cofounder, has 14 years of experience in advising and operating software companies at various stages of development.
Before forming eCash Technologies, Mr. Filby was a member of the management team of ITLS, guiding the company through all acquisition, financing, licensing, and alliance deals, including the acquisition by i2 Technologies in 1998. After this deal, Mr. Filby played a similar role at i2.
Before joining ITLS, Mr. Filby was a partner in a law firm with a corporate and securities practice focused on technology companies. He is also a member of the eCash
Technologies Board of Directors.
Matt Champagne,
chief operating officer, brings 15 years of experience in the wireless and information technology arenas to eCash Technologies. Mr. Champagne is responsible for leading the eCash charge into the wireless world in addition to his overall management responsibilities. Before joining eCash Technologies, Mr. Champagne was executive vice president for Tenzing, Inc., an innovative provider of e-commerce, e-mail, and connectivity services for business travelers.
Before working at Tenzing, Mr. Champagne was a director of data services for AT&T Wireless Services, where he pioneered Internet access and corporate data networking for commercial and business-jet aircraft. He also held positions with Boeing Company and Sundstrand Corporation.
Scott Wallace, SVP of
marketing, has over 20 years of online financial services,
retail banking, and consumer packaged-goods experience. Mr. Wallace's background includes
a wealth of branding, strategy,
direct and database marketing, and product management experience. Mr. Wallace joined eCash
Technologies from Integrion Financial Network, where he was chief marketing officer.
Before working with Integrion, Mr. Wallace was SVP of marketing at PNC Bank, where he built
the marketing plan to launch AAA Financial Services nationally, and repositioned the company's
consumer bank division. Mr. Wallace has a notable record of accomplishments in brand revitalization,
corporate marketing, marketing services, and product management with Keebler, Kraft Foods,
Celestial Seasonings Tea Company, and Frito Lay.
David Keenan, SVP of
financial markets, brings 16 years of experience in
the online payments industry. Mr. Keenan joined eCash Technologies from MasterCard International,
where he was responsible for United States sales. Also at MasterCard, he served as
senior vice president of global deposit access products, managing well-known products
such as Maestro, Cirrus, MasterCard debit, and Mondex.
Jay DeWitt, VP of client services, brings over 20 years of experience in the
electronic payment systems industry to eCash Technologies. Before joining eCash
Technologies, Mr. DeWitt was vice
president and group product manager at eFunds, a leading payment-management solutions
company. Before working with eFunds, as a vice president at both Visa USA and Visa
International,
Mr. DeWitt held several management positions with responsibilities in client support,
project integration, and technology business management. He also spent several years
at Seattle First National Bank, heading the merchant bank-card operation.
David Watson, VP of
business development, has over 11 years of experience providing
creative solutions to businesses in all industries. Before joining eCash, Mr. Watson
worked as the western regional manager for i2 Technologies (NASDAQ: ITWO), developing
creative business solutions for companies like Amazon.com, The Boeing Company, eToys, and
Canon Computers. Mr. Watson also held positions as business development manager and
project manager working with Nordstrom, Sears, E&J Gallo Winery, Lennox, and Dole Foods.
Before joining i2, Mr. Watson spent over seven years at IBM (NYSE: IBM) in sales and
business development.
Alice Dibble, VP of engineering, has over 15 years of experience in the
electronic funds-transfer industry. Before joining eCash Technologies, Ms. Dibble was vice
president of development for the EDS consumer network services unit. Before working with EDS,
Ms. Dibble was with The Exchange, where she was vice president of systems and programming,
overseeing application software development for the regional ATM/POS network. Ms. Dibble
also spent several years at the Mellon Bank EFT unit focusing on product development.
Yair Frankel,
chief scientist, has 15 years of experience developing fraud-security
technology at a variety of companies. Before joining eCash Technologies, Dr. Frankel served as vice
president of CertCo Incorporated, where he identified and guided the development of CertCos
consulting business. This business provides expertise on common system rules, contracts, and business
practices for certification authorities. Before this position, Dr. Frankel worked as a
senior member of technical staff for Sandia National Laboratories, where he coauthored a
three-year Sandia Laboratory Directed Research and Development proposal to investigate
scalable cryptography. Dr. Frankel has worked as a senior member of technical staff
at GTE Laboratories, worked as a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems, and served in
the United States Air Force Reserves.
