DET offense: 279.3 yards per game (4th worst in NFL) Stewart had only 13 yds. on 8 carries vs TB Week 3 Game Overview The once invincible Buccaneer defense has allowed 20 or more points in each of the last three games, something they did only four times all of last year. However, this trend is more a reflection of their offensive troubles and untimely turnovers than a softening defense. The Detroit offense has become more effective as the season has progressed, but now Charlie Batch has lost his top target in Germaine Crowell to a foot injury. After three straight losses the Bucs will be angry and in need of a victory here to keep pace with the Lions and stay within range of the division leading Vikings. If their offense can find any kind of groove and avoid turnovers (a big if), it will be a long day for Lion fans.
