ESPN.com - Kevin Corke joined ESPN as an ESPNEWS anchor in March 1999.
Prior to ESPN, Corke was a sports anchor at KUSA-TV, NBC's affiliate station in Denver, Colo. (1989-99). At KUSA, he covered the NCAA and a wide range of professional sports, including the NFL, Major League Baseball, the NBA, NHL, Major League Soccer, motor sports and the PGA Championships. Corke also served as host of Broncos Tonight, a live weekly half-hour recap of the day in Bronco football (1996-99). He also served as co-host of KUSA's Nuggets/Avalanche Sports Double, a weekly news and information recap show on the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche (1995-96).
Corke was graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with bachelor of science and master's of arts degrees in journalism. He started his broadcast journalism career at KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs, Colo., as a chief videotape editor, responsible for photography and editing sports.
While at KUSA-TV, Corke won six regional Emmy awards including the best sports anchor in the Heartland region twice and two Emmy awards for sports reporting.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Corke enjoys flying, skiing, golf and watching movies.
