Slim Jim All Pro Series, NASCAR Touring Quick Facts Facts | Schedule | Drivers | Results | Standings | News The Series: GoodMark Foods, Inc., through its Slim Jim meat snacks brand, is once again the proud sponsor of the Slim Jim All Pro Series. The series, one of nine NASCAR regional touring series, has drivers once again competing for more than $1,000,000 in posted awards, sponsor point fund and bonus programs. Racing in this series guarantees to be heart pounding and highly competitive. The series is one of four NASCAR regional touring series, along with the Featherlite Southwest Series, Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series and RE/MAX Challenge Series; that features Late Model cars under one blanket of rules that allows them to compete on a regional basis as well as at national events that highlight each of the four series.
The Cars: Slim Jim All Pro Series races are open to eligible 1997 through 2000 models of America-made production passenger sedans. All approved cars must have a wheelbase of 101-105 inches and a maximum tread width of 63 inches. Approved car models for NASCAR 2000 are the Buick LeSabre and Regal, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Ford Taurus and Thunderbird, Oldsmobile Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prix.
