The Series:

Created in 1985, the Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series is the Northwest's premier touring series. The 1999 season provided an exciting championship race while being introduced to the Sears Point Raceway for the first time. The Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series has captured the hearts of race fans in America's Great Pacific Northwest with incredibly competitive racing events and featured a Canadian resident as its 1999 champion. Pete Harding of Surrey, British Columbia, won the coveted crown on the final night of racing. The series is one of four NASCAR regional touring series, along with the Slim Jim All Pro Series, Featherlite Southwest Series, and RE/MAX Challenge Series; that features Late Model cars under one blanket of rules that allows them to compete on a regional basis as well as at national events that highlight each of the four series.
