Ravens stand behind Banks
Qadry Ismail
Ismail
Head coach Brian Billick has supported quarterback Tony Banks all along. So have his teammates. But after a 10-3 loss to Washington on Sunday in which Baltimore went a third straight game without scoring a touchdown, it's justifiable that the support system would start to weaken. Maybe not. "Somebody make a play. Somebody hold up on the line," wide receiver Qadry Ismail said in The Washington Post. "Somebody make a great catch. Somebody just make a great run. Somebody just do something. It's all of us, not just one position."

    Clayton: Game of the week
Before the season, the Titans worried more about the Ravens than the Jaguars because the Ravens match up well against them physically. The game should be a war, but the Ravens can't keep waving the white flag on offense. They need touchdowns to win, and they've got three games without scoring one.

    from the RAVENS MESSAGE BOARD
"A Ravens win on Sunday. Wait a second, I'm going to take this a step further. I guarantee a Ravens win on Sunday. I will also predict two touchdown passes by (Tony) Banks. Seventy-five yards on the ground by Jamal (Lewis), probably 50 or so from Priest (Holmes). Hmmmmm, now comes the score! I'll go w/ Ravens 27, Redskins 13."
