One on One

Jamar Fletcher picked off three passes vs. Oregon.

Wisconsin heads to Ann Arbor this Saturday wounded by its 47-44 double overtime loss to Northwestern last week. But Shoegate is finally behind the Badgers and CB Jamar Fletcher is back in time to go one-on-one with Michigan WR David Terrell, which should be the best matchup of the weekend (ABC, 12 p.m. ET). The ninth-ranked Wolverines enter the contest on the heels of a disputed win over Illinois.

'Hawks Overhead

Despite a lineup that blends wily veterans with young guns, the song remains the same in Seattle: Can the Seahawks compete with the AFC's best? After last Sunday's 20-12 win over San Diego, Seattle won consecutive games for the first time in 10 months. The Seahawks have a tough AFC West test on the road against Kansas City this week on MNF. WR Torry Holt writes that Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez played Mile High against Denver.

Summer Olympics
Golds just keep on coming for Jones
Marion Jones is a step closer to five gold medals after winning the 200 meters in 21.84. She celebrated with the traditional victory lap, pausing for a moment to give her husband, C.J. Hunter, two kisses, matching the number of gold medals she has won so far at these Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Auto racing
CART points race heads to Lone Star state
The Formula One circus has been to Indy and done that, and hardly a ripple from the U.S. motor sports community was felt. Granted, 250,000 watched, but Michael Schumacher's victory was appreciated by a minority of U.S. fans who find Formula One racing of interest. But as ABC's Jack Arute writes, CART's upcoming stop this Sunday at Houston for the Texaco/Havoline Grand Prix (ABC, 4 p.m. ET) will certainly command more interest.

Wide World Classic: Wilma Rudolph
The Summer Olympics have officially started and ABC Sports Online decided to look back at some of the amateur athletes that have shaped sports history. ABC's Wide World of Sports coverage of the USA-USSR Track and Field Meet on July 22, 1961, marked the first telecast from Europe handled exclusively by American personnel. This event showcased the legendary Wilma Rudolph and is the subject of this week's Wide World Classic.
