Mallon sets sights on career Grand Slam
Meg Mallon won a pair of major championships in 1991, but a nine-year drought followed until her victory Sunday at the final du Maurier Classic. Mallon now finds herself missing just the Nabisco Championship to join Pat Bradley and Juli Inkster as the only players to complete a Grand Slam in the past 20 years.

Orr captures British Masters
Colin Montgomerie pressured Gary Orr very early. But after pulling even with two birdies at the start, Monty's charge was over. Orr captured the British Masters on Sunday with a 2-under 70 final round. Per-Ulrik Johansson finished two shots at 19-under 269. Montgomerie placed third.

Senior Tour
Jenkins finishes in style
Tom Jenkins birdied the 18th hole to secure a one-shot victory over Kermit Zarley at the Canada Senior Open. The win was the first of 2000 and the second career title for Jenkins, who went over the $1 million mark in earnings for the season.

Mediate turns deficit
into victory on 18th

Rocco Mediate went to the 72nd hole of the Buick Open down one shot to Chris Perry. He walked off the green as champion. Mediate made a dramatic birdie while Perry bogeyed the finishing hole to give Mediate the fourth title of his PGA Tour career. Both had pulled away from the field, leaving Tiger Woods in a tie for 11th.

Playoff birdie carries Perez to Ozarks title
Pat Perez birdied the 18th hole to reach a playoff, then birdied it again in sudden death to win the Ozarks Open. The Buy.com Tour rookie's birdie beat Pat Bates and Mike Heinen in sudden death after the three had finished regulation at 18-under 270. Three others were one shot back.
