FAQs About General Information
It works like this: one person gets the ball rolling. You can share a photo, plan an event, share music, start a discussion, or you can get all of these features at once by creating a private place for your group. You then invite your friends and family to participate and whenever somebody accepts your invitation, they're taken directly to the contents of your eCircle. Once in the eCircle, everyone can participate by sharing comments and adding content for everyone to see.
To join an existing eCircle, you need an invitation. If you received an e-mail inviting you to join an eCircle, click on the link that's inside the e-mail invitation that was sent to you. You'll be taken to the item to which you were invited. You'll see character icons for the other people who are members of the eCircle as well as for the person who invited you.
Only people who've been invited by an existing member have access to any of the information in your eCircle.
eCircles is totally free. The services are paid in part by banner advertising on the site. In addition, when members purchase items through the site, eCircles receives a commission from the company selling the goods.
Your eCircle can have just one person or hundreds of people in it! There's room for more than 4,000 members in each eCircle.
Each eCircle has a storage limit of 65MB. That translates into hundreds of photos and discussion messages, years of calendars, and then some!
Individual files may be as large as 1.44MB and photos may be up to 500K.
A cookie is a security device that's assigned to you each time you login to eCircles, ensuring that no one can break into your system and view your eCircle activity or content. While cookies are required to participate in your eCircle, the information on them about your activity will never leave eCircles. We don't use cookies for marketing purposes.
