The upgrade to MPS FOR WINDOWS NT provides improved integration of industry-standard SVR4 STREAMS with Microsoft Windows NT. Mentat Inc. today unveiled the SkyX Gateway XR10 at the Satellite 99 trade show, demonstrating improved performance for Internet and private network access over satellites. The SkyX Gateway XR10 is the first hardware-based solution for the performance problems of TCP over satellites, bringing high-performance connectivity to satellite-based networks.

February 1, 1999: Intellicom to Integrate SkyX Gateway with T1Plus Product Line -- SkyX Gateway Software Enhances Internet Access over Satellite Service
Intellicom, Inc, which has recently agreed to be acquired by SoftNet Systems, and Mentat Inc. today announced that Intellicom will integrate Mentats SkyX Gateway software with its T1Plus product line to offer enhanced broadband performance to users of its Internet over satellite system. Mentat Inc. today announced availability of the SkyX Gateway, bringing high-performance Internet and intranet connectivity to satellite-based networks. With typical satellite conditions, SkyX improves Web access speeds by 3 times and file download speeds by 10 to 100 times. Developed by Mentat, the leading supplier of TCP/IP to the computer industry, the SkyX Gateway is an entirely transparent solution to the performance limitations of TCP over satellite.
June 15, 1998: HP Licenses Mentat TCP as Networking Stack on HP-UX 11 Mentat Inc. today made public the technology agreement under which Hewlett-Packard Company has licensed Mentat TCP as the native TCP/IP stack on HP-UX 11.
