   Office Depot

Office Depot
Office Depot, the nation's 14th largest retailer, wanted to extend its business to the Web; they enlisted Studio Verso. After an intensive strategy phase, Verso worked with Office Depot's outstanding engineering and marketing staff, designing and building a full-fledged commerce site from scratch in just three months. The site is expected to launch in January 1998.

How does a company successfully recruit high-tech candidates in the face of stiff competition? Verso's work for Lucent not only offered candidates an intriguing view of the company, but also enabled them to begin their application process online. We worked closely with Lucent to develop a unique recruitment strategy for its specific markets, including college hires, and created the content and structure to attract candidates. We also collaborated on the development of recruitment software to process and match applicants to jobs at Lucent.


   Fusionaries

NetObjects
To help NetObjects showcase their hot web publishing tool, NetObjects Fusion, Verso designed a sophisticated virtual gallery that defies predictable use of the software. Fusionaries.com was created to inform, educate, and inspire web designers to use Fusion as their tool of choice. We took advantage of its inherent features and then stretched the tool to create an unusual environment to feature other sites built with this promising software.


   Edison Source

Edison Source
At the onset of the electricity industry's deregulation, Edison Source asked for Verso's help to create an online presence for its renewable power offering, EarthSource. Verso is developing a site that educates, informs, and motivates potential customers to sign up for this innovative green power. As the industry continues to evolve, we have launched a temporary site to help Edison Source stay ahead in this fiercely competitive market.

To help EarthSource reach as many Californians as possible, Verso designed an ad campaign tailored to the irreverent, open attitude of Californians. The banners appeal to their unique disposition to try new things and support worthy products, such as green power.


   Relevance Technologies

Relevance Technologies
Relevance came to Verso with great urgency - "help us get a site up in time for the Seybold Convention" - one week away. Their objective was simple: a time-sensitive, focused site that would help establish their reputation and credibility in the knowledge management industry. Their product launch of Relevance/KMTM depended on the immediate development of a sophisticated and convincing web site, delivered by Verso. A full site is currently under construction for this client.


   Scopus Technologies

Scopus Technologies
Verso created a comprehensive site system for Scopus that included an overhaul of the existing organization as well as a branding and market identification initiative. They needed a more automated and efficient web-publishing system using Vignette's new StoryServer product. What resulted is a site that truly reflects Scopus' line of business: Customer Care. Friendly navigation and logical user segments deliver essential information about the company and its products. Verso also developed an automated process for producing new elements as the site continues to grow and expand.


   RREEF

RREEF
Within a day of its launch, Verso's site for RREEF investment advisors received an esteemed industry award for its quality of design and ease of use. We created a resource tool for RREEF that communicates its identity, products, and services to a broad variety of visitors. Launched in January 1997, the RREEF site incorpored late-generation web technologies such as Cascading Style Sheets, borderless frames, colored table cells, and byteserved PDF.
