A gee-whiz liberal college-boy social worker thinks Hank is abusing Bobby; his random snooping always catches Hank in violent or profane moments. Bobby sees possibilities in a guilt-ridden Dad, and runs with it.

Peg is tapped to teach sex education at school; Hank, Bill, Dale, and indeed, everyone but Bobby have some problems with the idea.

#3: The Order of the Straight Arrow

Hank takes the boys on a nature ordeal in which they must refrain from talking and learn to love the nature spirit Weematanya, whom Hank made up minutes before the trip started.

#4: Hank's Got the Willies

Bobby accidentally hits Willie Nelson in the head with a golf club. Willie is Hank's idol, so Bobby tries to get Willie to like his dad.

#5: Luanne's Saga

Luanne tries to move out with her boyfriend, but it doesn't work out. Hank tries to find her a new beau, and then realizes how hard that's going to be.

#6: Hank's Unmentionable Problem

A severe bout of constipation casts doubt on Hank's all-meat diet.

The new Laotian neighbors are the hypercompetitive Khan, his cheerfully cutting wife Minh, and the pleasant Khan, Jr., who is a girl, but her father wanted a boy, hence her name.

Hank's abrasive old cowboy dad, Cotton, comes for a visit. Cotton's shins were shot off in World War II, but Peggy thinks his wartime heroism has got to run out sometime.

Peg is in the running to be Boggle champion of Texas (and therefore, the universe) but Hank doesn't want to go with her to the state finals, preferring a lawn mower expo nearby.
